One of the struggles on my mograph path has been coming up with strong visual concepts for motion projects and implement them without straying away.
Even when I come up with a good idea, I can move into the implementation phase too fast and soon discover a new direction I want to explore. Before I know it, I convinced myself it’s even better than the first idea, and change direction altogether. The project then takes unnecessary long time and I feel stressed to complete it on time. Personal projects can end up unfinished because I simply feel lost.
This is not only inefficient but also takes a robs me of much of the joy I associate with the creative process. Something had to be done.
I decided to learn to come up with a few strong conceptual ideas and show them in style frames and design boards.
One way to do it in my circumstances is to take an online based class with a strong instructor and a supportive community. That’s how I ended up signing up for the 2018 winter session of Design Bootcamp with School of Motion.
Feeling excited and apprehensive at the same time – all engines on!
